Creative Embrace
Turning the poetry wheels,
Like that of Gutenberg's printing press.
I just want you to feel what I feel,
Each time I write I give it my best.
My passion rings like the liberty bell,
Yet unbroken it appears.
Many stories I long to tell;
My voice cries as that of Paul Revere's.
I wish to take you to a new world,
As though Aladdin on a magic carpet ride.
I want you to imagine on this journey,
Let's daydream with our heads in the sky.
I want you to close your eyes,
And picture yourself in another time and place.
That's the kind of poetry I want to write;
Experience creative embrace.
