My Self-inflicted Fate

Time,
Always
Moves ahead.
 Who will be left?
 Waiting now behind,
 For a sign from above,
As if blind to the present.
Look no further than your own mind!
Do you not perceive your surroundings?
Mediocrity the doom of us all.
