My Winter

Winter, a sad season, cold, foggy,
but it makes you think.

It makes you think of the past,
the present, the furture.

The best moment to think.....
is during the winter and when
you see that light out of the window.

It's the sun.....
a ray of hope.

That brings more questions
then a mind could answer.

Margherita, i tuoi poemi sono molto belli, ma ho visto che non ne scrivi più da tempo. Perché? Anche in questo c'è un piccolo errore "furture" invece di "future". Puoi correggerlo rieditando la poesia. Ciao, Mario

"Thinking is the best way to travel." That's a moody blues lyric. The way you write makes me think you might like them. They're my favorite band. I can see you sitting there in the window looking far off into the future. Await more to come from you. Have a wonderful season. :)

Very true. For some reason winter does make you stop and reflect. Maybe it's the people missing from the table at Christmas? Or perhaps its the prospect of a brand new year that some find daunting? Either way you've captured the spirit of the season very well. Keep writing!

Hi Margherita, it’s a pleasure to find such well expressed thoughts in such a beautiful write. Poetry that flows is poetry worth reading and rereading. Your description of winter and relation to thoughts is clever. Well done! I’m definitely looking forward to reading more poems from you. Vicky.

I love this poem. Winter is my favorite time of year. I love snuggling up on the sofa looking out of the window and drinking a hot cup of coffee. Winter is the best time of year to do a lot of thinking. Very beautiful, thanks for sharing.

M R... thank you for the invite.. and nice comment. Im thinking you spent much of your winter indoors. This is a good way of expressing such a sit down. Wish we had the coldness here. I need some alone time with my mind...welcome to the soup...luv..pd
