About This Poem
The Pill of Life to Jessica
Jess has been fighting cancer for years, not giving up, not even an inch.
A young mother and wife, I give to her The Pill of Life to cure her cancer.
My first thought, The Pill of Life to cure my spine. Wow!
Oh, so much more I could do with my life completely pain free.
But I have done so much already living mentally than most.
This I have learned, emotional and spiritual stability in life.
My poems I write not only brings joy and smiles to others in life,
But does even more for my well-being, such a simple thing. Yes?
I remind myself of all the could-have-beens or should-haves-
I have much, an excellent, compassionate surgeon, and doctors,
Love of my family, my dog, my creative spirit, friends and laughter.
It is laughter that we bring to each other, is truly healing for me.
Every battle I fought has given me some victories and much strength.
Let's pray for Jessica Collins-Fleming to give her life, cancer free.
