Well Debbie there are some rhymes which sticks in the head from school days ,even infancy and this was one which was played out in a game of Tic. Don't know if you played it our way, but I rememeber we used to say, Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? yes me, no you and then we would call out a number and that person would be chased until caught. Something like that(memory is fading!).
