What A Mother Of A Day

What a mother of a day I’ve had
It’s snowing and it’s really bad
Took the dogs out for a walk 
All the neighbours want to talk
What a mother of a day I’ve had

The snow is now up to my knees
The wind chill is in the breeze
I think that I’m going to sneeze
For sure I’m going to freeze
What a mother of a day I’ve had

Tried going shopping in the car
Didn’t manage to get very far
The roads are slippy slidey
There not one bit tidy
What a mother of a day I’ve had

Me I live on a hill
And the neighbours find it a thrill
When I slide by on my bum
They laugh and think it’s fun
What a mother of a day I’ve had

Well now the evening is near
I cannot help but give a cheer
Slippers on and by the fire
In the chair I most desire
With a steaming bowl of corned beef hash

    Smile - you are not the only one other people are having it bad too. Here in Texas we are havinh Sunny weather, in the 70's. I just had to rub it in. i'll check on the Corn Beef Hash. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

    Owen I like this a lot, but corned beef hash is my favourite meal, I am one of simple needs, so I am going to read it right now and I am hoping for good things...David

    hahaha, here is where you first introduced that hash!! I live on a small hill and I really hate it, just for the problem of driving away in the snow! well, that was cool how you got inspired by my footles. I hope you don't mind I borrowed your leary and used it in the collection. That one had never occurred to me!
