About This Poem
Across the Ocean
Across the waves, across the skies
In the mornings with sleepy eyes
Searching for someone before light
Knowing my day will start out right
When I’m with him, my spirit flies
With no need to apologize
Releasing all my heartfelt cries
My soul inspired to take flight
Across the waves
My feelings, never minimized
The way they are with other guys
Soaring along the highest height
My view, a magnificent sight
Wish one could hear contented sighs
