I am a woman

I’m not fragile
I’m not made of stone either
I may be likened to a rock
Flesh and blood is all I am

I love completely but I’m not a fool
I protect what is mine but I’m not selfish
I was made to accomplish their wish
Man did not appreciate my femininity

I suffered dominance in their hands
My femininity they used disadvantageously
Inferiority is not a portrait of my femininity
Man did not appreciate my femininity

Rivalries prominent today shadow my novelty
My God given position does not make me diminutive
Men given position does not make me superior either
I am a woman.

Hi Lucilla, thank you for stopping by. I checked your poem titled "Just a woman" I kissed you with fire, I kissed you with passion. It's not your fault and it's not mine - for love and passion are not a crime. I like.....i like......well penned
