Lest We Forget

Con after con is laid on concrete,
A minutes silence for all
The cacophony of the war
That went before,
When petty men with petty plans
Laid waste millions of our precious men
In foreign lands.
Our men are dead!
The lands are foreign yet!
Lest we forget!
