About This Poem
A Teddy Bears Picnic
As I went down to the woods last night
I was faced with a big surprise
The bears and birds all in the wood
Were partying in disguise
The teddy bears were in control
Of all the food upon the ground
They ate the cakes but not the seed
As they sang and danced around
I tip-toed in to join the fun
The teddies gave a great big hug
With silver leaves upon the ground
From a very slimy slug
We danced and sang until the morn
Deep in the forest thick
Come and join us in the fun
When the teddy bears have their picnic.
( I tried to keep it to the tune of the Teddy Bears Picnic )
