Do I have the right to dream

At times I wonder whether
I have the right to dream
when am a bunch of dreams to another
do I have the right to dream ?
I mean do I have the right to dream ?

My life is sweet but yet I dream
of winning the world just by a scream
even when I know that there are people
whose lives taste like a bitter cream
do I have the right to dream ?

Is owning the world of any worth
without touching it ?
just like a beautiful peice of cloth
being unable to fit
or a frozen river without a stream

Do I have the right to dream
when I see a handless boy
looking at my hands
missing the need and the joy
of playing in the sands

Should I dream of hugging him
to make him feel my hands are his
and feel the emptiness of them
lying on my back, feeling what he miss ?
or should I dream of what I dream ?

Is owning the world of any mark
without seeing it ?
just like a heaven burried in the dark
breaking bit by bit
or a wide ocean turning to a steam

So how about an old man
who is blind ?
trying with his disease
to be kind...
loving with insecurity in his mind

should I dream of owning his trust
to help him wear his coat ?
and clean off it the dust
and be the sea under his boat
or should I dream of what I dream ?

should I still have greedy dreams
or should I be thankful ?
the world to me, a hell it seems
after seeing the heaven in me so beautiful
for being alive is certainly beyond dreams...
