About This Poem
Beyond What Fades
Beyond What Fades
Can we all see beyond what fades?
When time has taken on its toll
Would we only be seeing the color of grey?
When everything has become old
Are we still able to recapture love?
After its flame has died down
Would we only be left to see what it has become of?
Or would we be able to blossom what we once found
Will we become blind?
Of no longer seeing what we thought of as beauty
Is it true that in time?
Everything fades into a memory
If the sun suddenly refused to light up our earth
Could we still see the beauty once made?
If the seasons suddenly never had a chance for rebirth
Could we still embrace their reflections of magic beyond what fades?
