These Things I Know
God’s acts should fill us all with awe;
He brings to us His best each day.
Christ cares so much, He died for sin,
Some days my eyes and ears still stray.
Christ builds our faith with His free grace,
gives us hope not hate and strife.
He shows the "ins" and "ifs" of joy -
a Judge who keeps us, King of life.
The Lord will mark us, make His seal
which needs no lock when one will pray.
God is our peace, our pain he quells
He’s quite so real, why run and play?
Some sprites may try to trick us
they urge us all to void our vows.
We slave to work "x", "y" and "z."
Leave them to God, the whys and hows.
