Playing My Piano
Living in a country home
I enjoy my piano
Making music in my house
It brings lots of peace
My pet loves it when I play
He serenates me often
Way off tune he sings away
And not with rhythm
I can play with a flourish
I’ve learned the one handed way
Can play with the best of them
I write my own notes
I enjoy playing music
It brings such joy in my life
I play with heart when I do
A passion inside
My family does join me
At times it’s quite beautiful
We sometimes play through the night
A choir of great noise
Many days I’ll play alone
No one else here but myself
I’ll play my keyboard with joy
With a love like none
