EVE

In quiet stillness she stands

His eyes locked upon her in adoring gaze

An exquisite dream, cast in stone

Such glorious and ethereal beauty awash

in pure vestal light

She breathes in white marbled grace

With chiseled softness her expression hauntingly

tender and sweet

Touched into life out of stone he dreams

that one day he could make her his own

She grows warm with life at the master’s touch

Never had he known a love so deep and with such

passion as to pray let my love live and breathe and

I shall call her Eve, the mother of all living.

Every man dreams of an Eve like this! But where to find her?

From the viewpoint of a sculpture. Quite thrilling actually. Some of the best writers I know have the ability to crawl into all kinds of character's places.

loves esteem a beauty queen, the breath of life the touch, power of will, some life is seen, the lady is too much.....

Nicely sculptured, enjoyed, Picasso would have been proud, and in glowing tributes would Socrates embellish.
