About This Poem
Fragmental Rose
Fickle brier's thorn prick soft thine heart,
Blood welled after her unforeseen depart.
Comes valiant lover with rejection's cure,
Laundering the stains again pure.
Benevolently dabbing crimson tears,
Disillusionment mars past yester-years.
Unwinding barbed thorn tightly wrapped,
Enchanting the heart again intact.
Harbor not the erratic injurious thorn,
Cast away doubt and unforgiving scorn.
Gentling the torrent crimson cascade,
Humbling the guilty for damage made.
Love so leery, to the fragmental rose,
Intrigue aroused as ardor steadfast grows.
Cradling thine tender repaired heart,
Amorous in spite of the damaged part.
