Grains

Grains of sand fall between the fingers
The life that passes by
One day nothing left to linger
All is gone and dry
The more you hold the more you live
Or so it would appear
A tiny mountain yours to give
Share and never fear
A storm may brew and in your hand
Grains will settle down
For those you help to make a stand
A hero in your town.
