Folded

Night folded its temporary home
Each segment removed brought
Light through cracks, windows
Doors until my eyes caught

The light of day, saying get up
Time to rise begin chores
The bed is warm and the room cold
Don't want feet to touch floor

Sunlight's penetration awakes
Even the cold, it now knows
Time is short, soon to be warmed up
'Til night its tent unstows

I just love the way you brought the progression from night to day, cold to warmth, darkness to light! This is a fantastic and delightful write my friend! I truly enjoyed reading this fabulous and tremendous poem this morning! What an enlightening piece...the last word of your poem is awesome, "unstows", perfect word, I love it! Great Work!!
