Requiem for a Life Unknown

a
weary
heart
this
life
bids
adieu,

till
arise
this
flesh
never
again
anew.

a
dying
spirit
echoes
slowly,
life’s
last
drum
roll,

a
final
rhythmic
cadence,
before
death’s
silent
bow.
