About This Poem
Blanket of Stardust
Stardust confetti from majestic emerald skies
Pouring from God's heart and the mystery in his eyes
Covering with adoration, its beauty comes from grace
It bares the heavenly glow that illuminates his face
Magical elements encompass each speck of dust
Answered prayers attached from a god whose gifts are just
God also sprinkles stardust to show that he is blessed
Radiant particles from golden clouds each time a sin’s confessed
12-30-12
Written especially for Gail Doyle’s Contest- Blanket of Stardust
(Today was my parents’ wedding anniversary. So thankful they are both in heaven!)
