A couple of family members had it before they passed away... sad but true. My epilepsy is not grande mal. Mine is called absentia... I get lost, forgetful, and couldn't remember who I was over the years a few times. But I'm lucky... I always come back. They zap my brain with apace maker every 25 minutes to keep me on keel... And I don't feel a thing. But my voice turns to a whisper for 45 seconds... I can't remember faces well and flip names, and stretch to find words...

If you think yor name is Kathleen you definately have a problem Jack. Well written and unfortunately true for so many. Both my Grandparents were victims of this disorder.

Two of my sisters were also victims of this disorder before they passed away. What a sad way to end a life.

You made it too funny, Jack. I know it's not a funny subject. Oh, my gosh, just think not knowing your loved ones and your surroundings. It's awful. How do they process thoughts when everything does not make sense or connect? Shaking my head on this one!

This was not meant to be humorous in the least but a sad look at how the mind is so tragically affected by this horrible disease. I'm really sorry if you misunderstood my intention here. Two of my sisters were stricken with this devastating disease so I've been exposed to it first hand. Once again, I'm sorry! Jack
