Late Summer Breeze

My inspiration flees with the dust
Blown by a late summer breeze
I look through it and see faintly
Whispers of words I can't quite remember
And wonder
How long will this last?
I'm tired of being
Blown by a late summer breeze
I'm tired of seeing
My way through the dust as it flees

I can relate to your verses. You definitely made something beautiful here within your lack of inspiration..I love the wordings of summer breeze..they flow so beautifully to my ear.

I agree with David's comment below. Even when writing about (what sounds like) writer's block, you manage to write a gem. That is not fair! haha. And to answer your question, where I live, early spring typically hovers around 5-10 degrees celsius. Later spring gets up to 15-18. Summer can reach 40 degrees celsius with our humidex. And Winter? Minus 40! haha. On those days, your description of what I wear is spot on - big parka, hat, scarf, boots, mitts... You can only see my eyes. Like a ninja
