About This Poem

Mine king

Dreamless in slumber sleep
Sentinel of mine keep
Vigilant to thine mighty roar,
Thine breath sings a melodious snore
Hard at labor through out the day,
Boosting of vailiant dragon’s slay
In a corner stands tarnished armor aged,
Awaits new wars challenges waged
Monies come few but far between,
And still in thine eyes I be queen.
Our palace but be thatch and stone
It still shines a humble place called home.
Walls crumble with disrepair,
But within, serenity resides there.
So sleep in sweet slumber mine king,
‘Morrow unknown what it may bring.
But know like the sands of time,
In a heart unequivocal love inhabits divine.
