About This Poem
Heart's Closed Chamber
Heart’s Closed Chamber
Behind a heart’s closed chamber
Remains a place that remains to be no stranger
The walls are all built to keep the heart safe and secure
Knowing that it will never be broken again for sure
Sadly, time passes and the years quickly passed through
No sign of love ever showing what it was meant to do
As a result, the heartstrings began to intertwine
Suffocating all their life within for love someday to find
Thus, the heart’s chamber suddenly seized
Not ever giving love a chance to help it breathe
Heart’s closed chamber blocked life from coming in
For without a place for love, life would know where to begin
