About This Poem

Beautiful Lies - Sonnett

Beautiful lies crush my bones in strife,
Avoiding the weave of your inner root.
Your lies and needless cries, unfolded my life,
A thief of my art work, its all in my boots.

The dark dishonesty brought only pain,
My lover has left me grieving my soul.
For only her lies remain in my name.
The cheating had kept me from being whole.

But, I shall with fever, love again,
We'll fly to the top of great mountains blue.
That life of strife gone in only a pen,
Thinking how rapture can bloom anew.

Beautiful truth will always renew me,
Beautiful lies have only set me free.
