Tenant Moves

     Tenant Moves

Have a job in Manhattan,
Tenant in MT. Vernon,
And two bedrooms.

Do not know if I trust,
This young man full of energy,
And bad karma to proceed.

Five, six days, at work one day,
And standing still and looking,
To see the tenant move.

And there appear a cloudy scene,
And in this cloud, a door opens wide,
And behold, tenant in my bedroom!

In slow motion, he looks and searches,
Into the clothes upon the bed,
And in the drawers of my bedroom set.

So, I see this vision, in the middle of the day,
While working in Manhattan,
Ninety miles away.
