About This Poem
Within Forest Twilight
The forest is in beauty
Twilight on the still water
Upon the flowing river
Fifty swans just drift
Then a whirling sudden sound
A clamour of wings beating
Above my head a soaring
Gone tranquility
But soon they calm and return
To paddle the blue water
Drifting within still twilight
Fifty swans just float
