Miles And Miles

Miles and miles of fence Young trees gave their life to serve As a barrier Between interstate traffic And wildlife that roams in woods

When people are motivated, that's the time for great things to be built..especially when there are many others to help. & I'm no longer in school, I graduated in June of this year. Great message Sara. ~always&forever. Lynette

The other aspect of this poem that strikes me is the contract between interstate traffic and roaming the woods. I feel that way internally, I love walking in the woods surrounded by nature yet I spend a great deal of my life in a busy hustle of everyday activities. Fortunately, my barriers seem to be coming down. I'm not sure this was the intent of your poem but if so, I hope your young trees have served their purpose as well. Warm thoughts, Ralph

This is a perfect write on barriers we see every day on the roads we drive on! I know about these very well as I used to live near one and the treeline went by our house! What a brilliant poem, I loved reading it this afternoon! Fantastic piece, Great Work!!
