About This Poem
The Heartbroken Dead
Bring flowers and lay them on all the scattered graves
The dead, O, the heartbroken dead are so sorrowful
Winds blow melancholy in the oddly twisted trees
And whispering, sigh, amongst the cold tombs
Visit respectfully then for life be grateful
