Hey Frank, this is a great write! It's bad enough to have a bad dream, but to have it recurring is torture. At least the ending gives comfort. Congrats on your win!

This is haunting in a way, Frank -- and I like how you wrote this in this kind of surreal way-- almost made me feel as I watching that dream-- but yes, how you ended this was very nice, I like that assurance in the end with seeing the "First Light"-- sending you email in a bit...

Excellent write Frank, I haven't been on soup as much lately, working long hours at work, not enough time to write poetry as I would like, haven't forgotten you, thanks for stopping by, xxx vie

Frank...we have all known those nights--seems writing is the best way to survive them--and you have done it elegantly! i especially like: "And as the dark of night descended... and dreadful dreams of him and her upended." Great job!
