I used to watch spiders when i was a child for hours, i like the contrast between spider and human Lori, nice write? Check out my Tale of Survival for a different take on spider to human contrast. Blessings Carl

It would seem readily apparent that plotting against your sister to steal her property and husband would cause problems. Hopefully you have learned your lesson. Really, brother-in-laws should be hands off.

Thanks Dan. It's a simple poem but was inspired by someone I know. However in the process of observing and writing about others, I find myself doing a bit of self reflecting which is always good to do. Again, I love your work so I'm always happy to receive a comment from you. <3

Yes, it seems we are the bugs caught in the web of our lives. Enjoyed this! :) Tanya

Yes, we are and we don't often realize we are weaving webs that will trap us later. I have been witnessing someone doing this for the past few months. She plots and schemes and I just know she will get caught in her own webs of deception eventually. I'm sure I've been guilty of a little web weaving myself in the past!

Thanks for reading. It popped into my head thanks to a certain sneaky human spider I know. :)
