Midnight Magic- Haiku Trilogy

                                          Rainbow colored hues
                                        Encircle the gypsy moon
                                        who flirts with the night

                                          She teases the stars
Coyly peeks through the dream clouds
                                             Blinding radiance

                                             I gaze in wonder
                                        Mesmerized by the display
                                            Of midnight magic

Thanks, Anne Lise. Two nights ago the power was off in my area of Beirut. After I got out of the car, I looked up at the sky. It was a splendid sight. The moon was full...there were white billowly clouds that set off the moon's multi-colored halo. I stood and stared for a while. I tried to capture it here, but who can capture God's creation perfectly. Thanks for your note!
