About This Poem
Giving Thanks
G rateful to Him for giving me this life
I n giving me strength when troubles were rife.
V isible is His love for me
I n making things for me easy
N ever has He let me feel alone
G iving me assurance that He has known.
T he pain, the hurt He sometimes inflicts
H is way of testing my faith, He predicts
A nd it is not enough to say thank you
N othing I can say, nothing I can do
K neeling down in prayer giving what is due
S howing Him that I have stayed true.
