About This Poem
'I Could Love Him'
His eyes engage me
Certain, calm, intense
His identity, unknown
~ Aristocratic is his demeanor ~
Suggested by his sword
So ornate and beautiful
His fashionable clothing
~ So utterly impeccable and perfect ~
He is not young, nor old
Long dark hair that waves
A black jacket, lacey cuffs
~ O, how his lips smile at me ~
His face beckons to me
His soul captures mine
I think, I could love him
~ And I am lost, within the frame ~
