About This Poem

Subconscious

Seeing her is a vision
His body relaxes; this is where he belongs
Hearing her sweet voice
He caresses her face
He feels her move toward him,
He can barely remain
Her quivering breath, as she whispers his name
He grabs the handles as he is sitting in his chair
Smells of lavender, she tastes of wine
He takes in the aroma, enjoying her flavor
His senses on overload as he traces her spine
Feeling her heartbeat, he is aware of his own
Together their passion unite as one
Something that cannot be undone.
