November Jazz

lead gale trumpets 

high 
effing sharp
                blast leaves shaky
beat-nodding 
trees
bare knuckled--
heads swaying--
moan

nippy 
whirling
fingers
tap a cool
l  o  n  g    note
segueing 
into December Blues

    Such an apt description on November !! Reading this as the last leaves find rest on the ground and a cold front moves into our area. Enjoyed !!
