About This Poem

Ben Franklin

Ben Franklin was a multi-talented feller indeed,

Noted mainly for helpin' develop our nation's creed.

Perhaps lesser known for sufferin' a shockin' jolt

Foolin' around with an occasional lightin' bolt!

fun....it is a pity that many modern school curriculum teaches nothing about the 'heroes' and personalities . he was one charming guy...and had an eye for the ladies too....

‡ As Soon As I Beheld Your Priceless Heart's Title And Labeling As Funny, Sweet Precious Robert, I Knew It Was Going To Be A Pleasant Moment! Old Ben, I Picture Him During A Storm Laden Night, The Wind Blustery, Holding On To His Hat With One Hand As Flying His Kite With The Other; Suddenly A Voice, 'Pooh Bear, Its Time To Come In For Dinner.' Just As He Turns, That Lightning Your Loving Heart Brushed, Hit Him Straight In Old Gazoo; And Then There Was Soon To Be, Light, LOL. Lovely Painting, And 'Happy Holidays.' Love Always, Rachel *
