About This Poem

Wishes

If wishes were stars,
The night would be ours
The moon would do our bidding,

If dreams were real,
Reality sprinkled surreal.
Heaven's entrance unforbidding

With stardust in the eyes,
There'd be no compromise.
Utopia just out of reach.

Holder of dreams
Life's not what it seems
Just collect your stars from the beach.

Okay, i know I said I'll be back in an hour... Ha could not help and click on another poem. About this poem: I love the wishing night we have. The moon and I are friends.. About that reality, ha I wish reality was nothing but a dream. Then it would make a nice way to meet the white pearly gate. I love the image anyhow..... I think we are closer to a fallen stars that washes up on the beach of a never reaching wish,,, deep thoughts poem,, xox~pd
