About This Poem
Winter's Blanket
Stained glass wings rest in awe
Neath velvet quilt of fallen of snow
Swallowtail and commas caressed
A peaceful reverence for winter’s show
Orion prances through the night
Stirring up the dust of stars
As angels weave their guilded-white
Earthbound cloak from afar
