Song of Jerusalem - Subtitled: 'What The Hell is Going On'
Oh Jerusalem
the bloody, killing vengeance
is a love song meant only for your ears.
Everyone wants to claim you
want's sure and secure ties
to your ancient, holy history.
Are they watching the days unfold?
I know the Christians are.
As December 21st, 2012
creeps in through calendar pages
with a grave sense of foreboding.
The world holds it's breath.
For the most part –
the days go on as usual.
We've heard this story before,
not the incessant bickering
but what the future holds in store.
By He, who tells us these things
before they come to pass,
so that we will know He is God
as in the beginning he foretold the last.
The world holds it's breath.
I am shaking in my boots.
What a time to be alive on Earth!
Were you there when New Jerusalem
came down in golden array,
when Zion announced it's glory
and it's sovereign reign?
A New World Order?
the Government of Earth?
The people will never go for that!
So, how does this end,
with only Christians populating the Earth?
That, is not the God I have known.
The God who loves all his children,
and Is Love ~ in perfection...?
Oh Jerusalem
do you hear the holy song?
Figure it out, World,
give thought, and get a clue,
you are no better than your neighbors,
you ~ practice war too.
Killing children,
drilling into a man's head...
You have disgusted me with your violence.
