Feet of Fire

Watching the Moon and Jupiter, Orion, in the east, the heart of the Bull: Aldebaran -- Flickering eyes, become with me: the Firmament: a dome for our House of Love, where Aeon beams our heart of light, shimmering, dark shutters Forever Opening and closing, so we may see again: inside . . . outside wood-pulp frames, folding Ash in our memory; Maple leaves, star-heart-weavers, darting in-between the rays of Venus, fashioned and feathered: Winged -- Feet of Fire, come dance with me, let us cross these paper bridges: hurl ourselves forward into lust's full Furnace burning above the Trees of Life Glowing like embers, our roots still spiral together: tongues, caught in flames; the Ghost of haiku rambles of romance, teasing the pulse of a rogue Sufi-poet -- Feet of Fire Always bring us, closer, together 01 November, 2012

wow, this is wonderful imagery. I especially like the line: ghost of haiku! Feet of Fire, what a title for this passionate poem.

The visuals contained in this write are brilliant. References to light and flame. After the "Winged" part you shifted into high gear, displayed more intense images, and ended this in a unique way. This is the BOMB! : )

I love(you :D)this poem for many different reasons -- the refrain of the very title throughout this poem, works in a strong manner, especially considering the possible double, or even triple+ meaning(s) of: "Feet of Fire". You were very patient with the word placement/use -- there is a lot of symbolism packed-into this poem. So many superb lines....
