Maybe Now

Maybe now I'm ready ,
To be on the other side,
Since my image isn't steady,
In the ripple's that they hide...
So I shed my wordly garments,
Just to leave upon the chaise,
So when another sits upon it,
They will somehow see my face...
Still trapped within the mirror,
That it seems I never left,
Just many times as clearer,
When I choose to hold my breath...
Waiting for another touch,
To try and wipe away,
The one thing in the mirrors clutch,
That never meant to stay...
And when they finally rub the glass,
They'll see another face,
It's their reflection that is cast,
So they can take my place...
