I See Dead People

Innocence born unknowing
An inheritance preordained
In a world ere ill-conceived
Awash in souls fallen apart
Spirits alive come and gone

Time dare erases all things
Save memories of the past
Ancient images of lost ego
Once birthed, only to perish
Ne'er knowing learned why

Ever so wanton away lives
Zealously seeking success
In death’s limbo unawares
Zeitgeist’s facinorous hope
Bearing Armageddon’s fire

Listless soulfulness revived
Briefness nonexistent minds
Woebegone overly stressed
Intellectual reincarnate nous
Finality’s judgment realized
