This was a very clever piece and a funny thought. It actually feels similar to my "snowy evening" haiku that you recently read... only in reverse where the forces of nature bring two people to battle things out... instead of finding the things that make you the same... only have read a couple so far but you seem to really understand what makes haiku great.
