Reading this has such a calming effect, Rebecca-- how wonderful to have that reassurance, that hope-- something akin to finding some kind of sanctuary, knowing in your heart that all will be well-- yes, God's timing is a mystery but well worth it I believe... thank you for your encouraging words and support, I deeply appreciate it, as well as the hugs-- sorry about the soupmail btw, maybe I'll activate that soon... "inhale hope with each desperate breath"--> wow.

Your poem gives the perfect definition of what hope itself means and stands for. What beautiful words.

the first 4 lines particularly resonanted with me. [line 9 [timeing is or timing's if there is such a word ;) no matter poetic license!] Congrad's on your win in this difficult contest. Light & Love

Thanks, Debbie! Actually, I think it should have been punctuated, "His perfect timing, a mystery" That's how I heard it in my head anyway :D Thanks! Light and love back at ya!

Thank you Andrea. Credit for the words "inhale hope" goes to Sharon K. Penman who wrote, "I inhale hope with every breath I take" (Author of Lionheart)

I am taking in deep breaths and being filled with great joy, now my smile is no longer forced, I am truly thankful and unafraid. I really really like your poem. May you be lifted by the breath of God and fully experience his peace.
