Pink - Pink - Pink

morning chemo - She removes from her smooth head a long pink scarf pretty pink roses near her hospital bed. . . . the blush on her cheeks homecoming time - on all her neighbor’s trees. . . pink ribbons Dedicated to Suzanne Somers, a beautiful and famous cancer survivor (I honestly and thankfully can’t think of someone personally that I know of who is close to me, who died of breast cancer. I probably know some survivors who are acquaintances of mine.)

My wife's mother died of breast cancer. What a pity that a woman should suffer from such a fate. Got to tell ya - the t.v. said the other night that there are only two states not allowing gambling and casinos. Hawaii and Utah. Warmest congratulations Utah. I think these casinos SUCK! Love, daver

This is a beautiful statement in honor of cancer survivors everywhere, especially the dedication. Thank you for your kind comments on my senryu. I'm feeling a bit better - but it will take some time to feel my old self again. It is nature's way of telling me to take it slow :-) Love, Su

I especially like it when the big tough football players wear pink shoes and things. :) When it comes to being humane, gender goes out the window. Cancer sucks. It makes us all sooo sad. But people like Suzanne give us reason to be glad. Pink- pink-pink, did you ever read my poem, tink, tink, tink? :)
