Embrace the fallen

Embrace the fallen

Eruption of contrasts
Flailing at a sequence ventured

Vigorous, erratic expiration.
With an unforeseen determination, must carry on

Our destination, awaits a new discovery.
Untold, unwarranted, unintentionally I find myself forgotten.

Moving forward, we become invisible to the naked eye,
Those who wish to walk among us, must stagger without assertion.

Foreign to what we once knew, uncharted, without guidance,
We find ourselves seeking the unknown.

Stained, yet shaded from the worlds innocence
Wavering in a hue of undetermined shapes & deceptive countenance.

Descending, reduced, to but a child’s whispers,
Lingering in the depth our own subconscious.

I like this one..Interestingly put together..I am glad that I chose it to read this morning..I had not read Edna St. Vincent Millay's work "A Visit To The Asyllum" so I looked it up..I enjoyed reading it..She was a very gifted poet..Thanks for stopping by..Sara
