About This Poem

Tarzan parody

Who'er was born in jungle deep
And rocking safely in his sleep
Arose upon his little hinds
Took his first swing from jungle vines

His life's love I've heard was Jane
Wed on the Serengeti plain
Tarzan stood always by her side
What a most unusual pride

The lover of his mortal heart
Was I'm told a tawdry tart
That is what her ex did claim
The smear quite clear he was to blame

He should have held his tongue that day
All knew her virtue didn't sway
And Tarzan most of all knew this
Unwed he got not one small kiss

So Tarzan in defense of Jane
Sought satisfaction for the stain
Challenged the brit who did offend
And thus the brit did meet his end

I know there is a tale of Tarzan being taken to england but I've forgotten the story. You seem like someone very interested in literature. I hope you do read the book or see the movie of cloud atlas. You will love it.

Chivalry knows no bounds... the brit exceeded his... Terry (good poem... funny in a morbid sort of way...)

Thank you Terry. It is another of my parodies. I love to write parodies.
