Misconstrued
The two dashboard lights
will guide the way home
one is a reflection in my window
one is the real one
someone who I cannot see
must still be with me
and that which I cannot see
must still be on my side
a lot of things happen that do not seem right
I know there is still light in the air
so I will keep you in my prayers
intentions are good
if you do not get too involved
and you lose the light that helps you see through
the fiction
I know you
do not worry about it
you will pull yourself through
and find life
people get confused
to understand the other’s point of view
even a perfect love
can be misconstrued
