A Me No More
This night is different
And I only ask it so
For this night I have no return
With nothing more I need behold
A pretense I no longer deny
A no one I just want to be
A stake was set and the price was high
Because... I can no longer find me
The world is so big
And I do not see myself to belong
No one I know can comfort my need
As living days promises to haunt
Sleeping with dreams I do not understand
Living a life as always for another
Concluding a self I cannot comprehend
I am wiser... not better
I cannot be in a false reality
No one agrees
I can no more change applicably
Simply... I’m no more me
